Volunteers hang wreaths downtown for Chelsea Bruck

Sisters Gerry Ash of Monroe and Carol Dikowski of Newport had other plans on how to spend their Saturday morning, but scrapped those to hang large wreaths with symbolic purple ribbons on them in downtown Monroe.

 The two women were among more than two dozen volunteers who bundled up against the cold Saturday to help raise awareness about the search for Chelsea Bruck, 22, of Maybee, who has been missing since Oct. 26.
