Juror's letter in Slota case details more in-trial exchanges

A juror who sent an email to a group of friends during a trial in which an Aberdeen man was convicted of rape also sent text messages to a relative, she admits in a letter to the presiding judge.

The letter written by Cindi Walsh is filed in the case of Frederick “Fred” B. Slota, 42. In March, he was convicted by a jury of raping a child and sexual contact with a minor. The crimes involved the same victim. Slota is in the Brown County Jail awaiting sentencing.
