Pa. Supreme Court denies Jerry Sandusky’s petition for allowance of appeal

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has denied former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's appeal, according to court documents filed Wednesday.

Sandusky’s lead appellate attorney Norris Gelman filed a petition for allowance of appeal on Oct. 30 after the Pennsylvania Superior Court denied his appeal for a new trial earlier that month.

The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled there was no prejudice against Sandusky during his trial.
