Woman's skeleton found in 1970s remains unidentified

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. - Investigators are still trying to identify a woman whose remains were discovered near Interstate 65 in Maury County in the mid-1970s.

 Detective Jerry Williams said the remains were found near Highway 99 and Joe Brown Road by two hunters in February of 1975.

 "We have reason to believe that she didn't die naturally," Det. Williams added.
