Daniel Morcombe murder trial: Brett Cowan cannot explain how he knew where to find boy's remains, court hears

The man accused of murdering Daniel Morcombe has produced no evidence to explain how he knew where to find the boy's remains, prosecutors told his trial in Brisbane.

 Brett Peter Cowan, 44, has pleaded not guilty in the Supreme Court to abducting and murdering Daniel, 13, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in 2003.

 Daniel disappeared while waiting for a bus under the Kiel Mountain Road at Woombye on December 7 that year.
