A Connecticut judge Tuesday ordered Newtown police to release the 911 calls from the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

 Wesley Allardice, 62, of 1307 President Ave., was indicted Oct. 17 on charges that include assault to rape a child, aggravated rape and abuse of a child by age difference, indecent exposure, selling or delivering liquor to a person under 21, giving obscene matter to a minor, using a drug for sexual intercourse and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.

Missing Skelton boys remembered 3 years after they were last seen

(WXYZ) - The search for the missing Skelton boys, Andrew, Alexander and Tanner is entering its third year.

 The boys went missing the day after Thanksgiving 2010 and have not been seen since.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Conrad Murray, who literally sang his innocence in a jail cell interview with CNN in April, has given his first interviews since spending two years in jail for the death of Michael Jackson.

 Australia's "60 Minutes" promoted a video interview with Murray to air Sunday, while London's Daily Mail newspaper published a print interview.


Deputies arrest parolee after girl sexually assaulted at knifepoint in Pontiac

The suspect, currently on parole for several felonies, was arrested at 10 a.m. Wednesday after being identified by a fingerprint scan and found.

 Authorities say the homeowner, 53, who lives in the 1300 block of Galloway Circle, called authorities Monday to report her 14-year-old niece had been forced at knifepoint by an unknown suspect to perform a sex act.

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A Charlotte couple is fighting for answers about what happened to their four-month-old son behind the doors of a local daycare.

 The Bryant family says four-month-old Logan died in June while in the care of several daycare employees with Chesterbrook Academy off Mallard Creek.

WBTV has learned there is surveillance video from inside the daycare, but Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police (CMPD) will not release that video publicly.

Attorney Matt Morgan announced that he and Tricia Norman, the mother of Rebecca Sedwick-- the 12- year-old who committed suicide allegedly after being bullied-- will hold a press conference Monday at 10 a.m.

 This announcement comes on the heels of charges of aggravated stalking filed against two young defendants and former schoolmates of Sedwick were dropped on Wednesday.

As he prepared to celebrate his 10th birthday on Nov. 6, Aaron Vu asked his mom not to embarrass him by bringing a cake to school. He didn’t want fellow fifth graders at Northwest Christian Academy to know he was younger than they were.

His mother, Lynn Ma, listened, but managed to surprise him later that night. She and husband Hai Nam Vu presented him with an ice cream cake and sprinkled donuts after the two had put in a long day at their nail shop.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California man was convicted Friday of the murders of the father and sister of his ex-girlfriend, and the attempted murder of her mother, in what prosecutors say was an ill-conceived attempt to reunite the couple.

A jury on Friday found Iftekhar Murtaza, 29, guilty of two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy. The jury found that there were special circumstances of kidnapping during murder and multiple murders.

An infant girl who was abducted in South Carolina 19 years ago has been found living a "normal life" in Australia, authorities said, and her mother faces federal kidnapping and other charges.

 Savanna Catherine Todd, now 20, of Isle of Palms, S.C., disappeared in April 1994 as her parents were in the middle of a bitter divorce battle.

DNA evidence has confirmed that the remains of two children found in shallow graves north of Victorville are those of Joseph Jr. and Gianni McStay, the sons of a Fallbrook couple whose remains were in the same vicinity, sheriff’s officials said Friday.

 It’s been one week since sheriff’s officials announced the remains of the two adults were that of Joseph and Summer McStay. Their identities were confirmed through dental records, sheriff’s officials said.
