TOLEDO -- The ex-boyfriend of missing Elaina Steinfurth's mother faced a judge for the first time on charges he lied to investigators about the toddler's disappearance.
23-year-old Steven King's bond was set at $250,000.
King's attorney argued his client should get a lower amount because he's not facing a violent charge but the judge disagreed.

........Steven King has been a major name in the investigation and public interest surrounding the missing Ohio toddler, with multiple rumors alleging that Elaina and her sister suffered abuse, neglect, and overall poor living conditions in his home. In one allegation made by a relative of Angela Steinfurth's cellmate, Angela supposedly confessed that Elaina had died after King threw her against a wall, and that Angela and King then took her body to the High Level Bridge and dropped it into the Maumee River.
