Jurors will return next Tuesday, May 28th, to hear evidence before deciding whether McNeill should be sentenced to death or life in prison without parole.

Missing teen reveals plan to flee to America with convicted abductor on Facebook

A missing teenager believed to have run off with a man with a conviction for child abduction has posted on Facebook that the pair are looking to flee to America.

Holly Whitmore, aged 16, who disappeared from her home in Northamptonshire with 21-year-old Brandon Cunningham earlier this month, updated her status on the social networking site to say she had got a passport and are looking to jet off to the USA.

Police have now alerted border control officials to ensure that the pair will not be allowed to board a plane.
