Delaware County Coroner: Pataskala woman died of heroin intoxication

PATASKALA — A pregnant Pataskala woman who was found dead in Delaware County in August died of acute heroin intoxication, according to Delaware County Coroner Dr. Mark Hickman.

Hickman released his findings on Monday, six weeks after authorities discovered the body of Deanna Ballman, 23, of 80 Coors Blvd., in her 2003 Ford Taurus in rural southwestern Delaware County.
