Jurors will return next Tuesday, May 28th, to hear evidence before deciding whether McNeill should be sentenced to death or life in prison without parole.

Prosecutors play videotaped interview of Vaughn in family slaying trial

Christopher Vaughn was in a tiny white-walled interview room when the state police detective pulled up a chair, got in his face and said he had “some news” about Vaughn’s wife and three children.

 “They’re all gone, Chris,” Sgt. Gary Lawson said in a matter-of-fact tone on a video played this afternoon for jurors in Vaughn’s quadruple murder trial.
