Murder warrant issued for man in ex-girlfriend's death

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
The Orange County Sheriff's Office issued a first-degree murder warrant for the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend.

Officials issued the warrant for 33-year-old Kris Gould who was the only person of interest in the death of Jorgete Acarie.

Acarie, 43, was found dead in her Forrest Run lane home near Dr. Phillips on Sunday. Her 2-year-old son with Gould was in the house when his mother was shot multiple times, authorities said.

Acarie's sister Viviane Acarie said the boy watched his mother being shot to death.

Viviane Acarie said in a childlike way he described to the family what happened and who did it.
