Ohio mom-in-law sane at time of septic tank death (Summer Inman)

LOGAN — Sandra Inman’s case is moving forward to jury trial as there was a ruling on her final mental evaluation Thursday.

Sandra has been charged with murder, kidnapping, abduction, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse in relation to the disappearance and murder of her daughter-in-law, Summer Cook Inman, in March 2011. Sandra’s husband, William, and son, William II, face similar charges.

In November, Hocking County Common Pleas Court declared Sandra competent to stand trial, but the issue of her sanity at the time of the alleged offenses had not yet been determined. Thursday, Hocking County Common Pleas Court Judge John Wallace ruled Sandra was sane at the time of the alleged offenses.
