The Illinois Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered a lower court to take another look at whether disputed evidence can be used against ex-cop Drew Peterson when his murder trial begins.
The ruling means an Illinois Appellate Court panel must reconsider allowing Will County prosecutors to present more extensive hearsay evidence when Peterson stands trial for the 2004 murder of third wife Kathleen Savio.
